Well, it's back to Movable Type

I never thought I'd go back to MT but after getting so frustrated with Wordpress and Textpattern it was my only recourse. It seems that Wordpress likes to add p-tags arbitrarily and no one seems to care except those who complain about it in the forums and no one responds. I'm sure there is a fix for it, hiding in some crazy-ass php file, but quite honestly it's not worth my time. I know it's a small thing to give up on a whole platform for, I could have just worked around it in css, but I didn't want to have to. Textpattern was even stranger, it's css was a php file!! I understand this sort of, but it makes it damned difficult to use a css editor like cssedit 2. So I came back to MT, I used to run it back in version 2.6 and found it to be to much trouble, though now 3.3 seems a lot easier to deal with and has some new features, the Quickpost thing looks pretty slick. No if I can just find a plug-in that emulates the Stylehive.com method of post I'll be in nirvana.
