Saul Bass, The Solar film

Eames Demetrios, grandson of Charles and Ray Eames presents a rare glimpse of the Solar Film produced by graphic designer Saul Bass. The film was commissioned is 1980 by Robert Redford. If you listen at the end of the film you can hear Saul Bass speak for a few seconds

Really bizarre little film, very period graphics and styles. There is an odd mix of montage (quite beautifully done) and cell animation (looks very School House Rock), like it was written by multiple people. The message is very clear though, and just as important today. To bad Mr Redford didn't do the narration.

Don't pay much attention to the intro, it's really quite bad, to bad Eames Demetrios didn't get the graphic sensibility of his grandfather. The film actually starts at the 1 minute mark.
